We all lead a busy life. We may not be able to catch our favorite TV show episodes live as they happen. Or you might have just discovered a super cool show then realized that you missed a complete season! What now?! You have to find a way to catch up on everything you missed.  I have been in this predicament at least once.

I just happened to catch the season 2 premiere of Queen of the South on Thursday June 8th and I was hooked. I knew I had to absolutely see season 1 and find out what I had missed.

Here is how I slay binge watching Queen of the South, one of my new favorite shows. First I came up with a game plan.

Every queen of binge watching has her own strategy.  With 11 hours of episodes to catch up on I decided to break up the tv watching into blocks of two to three hours. Of course for those of you that binge watch this is nothing, I know of people that will watch complete seasons in one 24 hour period, straight.

My binge watching schedule:

Friday evening after Thursday’s premiere I got some snacks, popcorn, chips, and a few beverages and began to watch season 1 on Netflix.

On Saturday and Sunday I woke up nice and early at around 7am, made myself a nice pot of coffee, even some scrambled eggs and settled in for my binge.

Now I am all caught up with Queen of the South and I just can’t wait to see what happens next to badass, Teresa Mendoza.  If you haven’t seen the season premiere or you are behind on episodes don’t fret! There are several ways to catch up. The first season is available on Netflix or you can head on over to USA and see the episodes and other extras! Remember to catch new episodes every Thursday at 10/9c on USA Network.

Share your reactions to the show with me! What are you looking forward to as this season unfolds? Who is your favorite character Teresa or Camila?
